Handmade print of tree rings.
This is a human-computer collaboration print: I originally generated the shape of the tree section using code, and picked the one I wanted from hundreds of random generations. I then carved that generated image into a linoleum block, making modifications as needed. I wrote more about this process in this blogpost.
⭑ 8" x 11.5" hand-printed linocut. Linocut printing is 100% a manual process, so each print will be slightly different in texture, and might have imperfections. Such is the world of printmaking. I will try my best to give you the best print that I can, however!
